Inuit Presentation

On Tuesday, March 10th, we had the visit of an Inuit who came to talk to the children about his culture. In class, the children were invited to make an Inuksuk, thought to be used by the Inuits as markers for travel routes. We also talked about auroras that can be seen in the North, where Inuits live, and watched a video showing auroras.  The children were invited to represent auroras, using colouring crayons, as a background before making an Inuksuk made out of pieces of black construction paper.
