In our Science Centre, we have placed a light table. The children were encouraged to collect things in their outdoor environment and to observe them on the light table. Devin noticed that some objects were more shiny than others. He explained that the objects that were less shiny had more material and the ones more shiny had less material.

Mrs. Cole, Tianna and Christina sorted the objects in two categories: opaque and transparent.
