Learning About Pumpkins

Here is our bulletin board display showing activities that we have done on the topic of pumpkins. The children have learned to identify the inside and outside parts of a pumpkin. They have used their eyes, hands and nose to make observations about a pumpkin. They estimated seeds and measured the circumference, width and height of pumpkins.  We will continue to learn about pumpkins by observing our seeds growing in our `pumpkin patch and by watching ``Rachel the Pumpkin`` turning into compost. To see those activities closer, and other activities go under Our Classroom Activities tab.
